Wigan Athletic are eyeing Genoa winger Valter Birsa.

The Daily Mail says the Slovenia winger signed a four year contract at Genoa in 2011 but has failed to really settle and is keen on a move with England his ideal destination.

Wigan have monitored him for over a year and maintain an interest with Genoa willing to let him go on loan.

Birsa would arrive as a replacement for new Chelsea signing Victor Moses.
