Wigan Athletic midfielder Jordi Gomez says staying up is their priority.
With the financial rewards for staying up higher than ever, chairman Dave Whelan has promised the players a trip to Barbados if they can preserve their top-flight status.
Gomez said: "Our priority is to stay up in the league. If we can get to the final and win the FA Cup that would be excellent but our aim is to stay in the league.
"This is the first time the club has been in a semi-final and we've got a great chance. But we would sacrifice the cup final to stay up - no doubt about it."
