Wigan in Mallorca talks for Marti Crespi

Real Mallorca defender Marti Crespi is a target for Wigan Athletic.

The Daily Mail says Wigan are interested in Crespi.

The 24-year-old centre-back was courted by English clubs last year. Mallorca are willing to let him leave on a six-month loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Crespi, a former Spain U20 international, will add much needed strength to Wigan's defence.
