Wigan Athletic have held talks with Scotland manager Alex McLeish, it has been revealed.

The Manchester Evening News says senior Wigan officials spoke with Eck on Wednesday.

Scotland, though, would qualify for the European Championships if they beat Italy, in which case McLeish would be unlikely to step down.
