Wigan Athletic are bidding for West Ham striker Marlon Harewood.
The Guardian says the Latics will offer £3.2 million for Harewood today.
Harewood has also attracted interest from Aston Villa, Birmingham City and Portsmouth but Wigan are poised to win the race.
