Wigan Athletic are set to win the race for want-away Newcastle United midfielder Charles N'Zogbia.

The Daily Mail says N'Zogbia seems sure to move to Wigan in a deal which will see full back Ryan Taylor switching to St James' Park.

The incoming Taylor, out of contract with Wigan in the summer, should be a good acquisition. He can play at right back in the absence of Habib Beye, as well as in midfield or on the wing.
