Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Carlo Nash admits he is keen to sign permanently with Stoke City.

Nash told The Sentinel: "You cannot play for a club and fail to become attached, especially when there's so much at stake.

"It's a great feeling to have that chance of winning promotion, and now we just have to make sure we don't fall at the last hurdle."

The 34-year-old has also indicated there may be a future for him at the Britannia Stadium should manager Tony Pulis make him the right offer.

He added: "That's obviously a decision for the club and the manager, but I know I don't want to be in the same situation I was at Wigan again because I feel I still have something to offer."
