Wigan have signed Ivory Coast international Steven Gohouri until the end of the season, reports the Manchester Evening News. Defender Gohouri had been on trial at the DW Stadium after leaving Borussia Monchengladbach in December.
The 28-year-old becomes manager Roberto Martinez's second signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of Serbian international goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic last week.
"Steven has a fantastic attitude and is desperate to play for Wigan Athletic," Martinez told the club's official web site.
