Wigan Athletic boss Owen Coyle is ready to step up their bid for Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell.
The Mirror says Coyle has lined up a season-long loan for Powell.
The deal will go through once James McCarthy is sold - with Everton and Newcastle United keen.
