Wigan Athletic are locked in talks with Almeria over experienced winger Albert Crusat.
The midfielder is wanted by Latics boss Roberto Martinez as a direct replacement for Manchester United-bound Antonio Valencia.
Wigan have offered £2 million for Crusat, while Almeria insisting he won't move for less than £4 million.
