Wigan Athletic are coughing up £4 million to sign Norwich City striker Grant Holt.
BBC Cumbria says Holt would become Owen Coyle's seventh summer signing, joined the Canaries from Shrewsbury in 2009, and scored eight goals in 38 appearances last season.
The initial fee could rise if Wigan were to get promoted this season.
