Liverpool are ready to send defender Andre Wisdom away on-loan.

The People says Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to send England Under-21 starlet Wisdom out on loan - with Owen Coyle's Wigan heading the race.

Rodgers wants highly-rated Wisdom to play every week so he is ready for a quick recall if needed.

Fulham have also asked about Wisdom, who played for Liverpool last season and impressed at right-back, but Rodgers wants him to go to a Championship side.
