Wigan face road-block over deal for Sevilla attacker Kone
Wigan Athletic's deal for Sevilla winger Arouna Kone could be scuppered today.
The People says Wigan are in talks with Ivory Coast striker Kone about a move from Spanish side Sevilla.
The lively little forward is not a regular in the high-flying side and needs games to earn a place in the World Cup squad.
Martinez has set up a deal to take him on loan for the rest of the season - after missing out on Villarreal hitman Marco Ruben - but may find securing a work permit a problem as Kone hasn't figured recently for his country.
