Wigan Athletic have extended the loan of Everton midfielder Franciso Junior.

Francisco Junior has extended his deal at Wigan Athletic until early 2016.

"Cisco has been a revelation since he's arrived," manager Gary Caldwell told the club's website.

"When we found out there was a possibility of extending the loan, it was something I was very keen to get sorted.

"He gives us something different in the middle of the park and complements very well the other players we have in that department. His attitude has been spot on and he has blended very well into the group."
