Aston Villa are weighing up a move for Wigan Athletic striker Emile Heskey.
The Manchester Evening News says Villa are expected to renew interest in Heskey when the transfer window reopens in January.
Villa had a £6m offer for Heskey turned down by Wigan on transfer deadline day earlier this season.
The England striker, who is currently sidelined with another hamstring injury is still on Martin O'Neill's wanted list.
Wigan could be tempted to cash in on Heskey, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
It's believed Wigan will accept £4m for the 30-year-old.
