Wigan Athletic have slapped a £14 million price-tag on James McCarthy.
The People says Everton boss Roberto Martinez has McCarthy top of his shopping list.
McCarthy is valued at around £14m by Wigan chairman Dave Whelan - who has also caught the eye of Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa and West Ham.
