Wigan Athletic defender Emmerson Boyce is backing FA Cup opponents Crystal Palace to avoid the drop.
Boyce left Palace eight years ago.
He believes Palace will avoid relegation this season under Tony Pulis.
"It is a club that deserve to be in the Premier League," he said. "Tony Pulis has organised them since he took over, they are hard to beat and have got some good players.
"A couple of months ago they looked down but they are moving in the right direction now. It is great to see them climbing the table and I am confident they will survive."
