Wigan Athletic are confident closing a deal for Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

The Mirror says Wigan have won the race for Ali Al-Habsi and will sign him in a £4million deal this weekend.

Keeper Al-Habsi, 29, starred on loan for the Latics last season and helped them survive.

Now he is poised to wrap up a permanent switch to Roberto Martinez's Wigan side in the next 24 hours.
