Wigan Athletic chief executive Brenda Spencer is confident Roberto Martinez will prove a success at Everton.
Martinez still has it all to prove to Everton fans, who are split over whether they are getting an FA Cup-winning manager or a relegated one.
Brenda has no such doubts, telling The Sun: "He kept us in the Premier League for three of eight seasons we were there - it was down to Roberto.
"Put him at a club with the right players and he will do really well. He's still only 39 - by the time he's late 40s he will be a top manager.
"If he's got the players to play good football - and there are a lot of good ones at Everton - he will be a success. It's a no-brainer."
