Wigan Athletic are chasing Olimpia striker Roger Rojas.

The Manchester Evening News says Wigan are closing in on the 19 year-old, who hails from the same club that produced Hendry Thomas and Maynor Figueroa.

Thomas aid: "It is great that there is a link between Honduras and Wigan and let's hope the constant flow of Hondurans coming here to play can continue.

"It was always a dream of mine to come to Europe and play in the Premier League. "
