Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is at the Euros this month to check on six transfer targets.

Chairman Dave Whelan says he has already identified six players to look at - and will be on the look out for more.

Whelan told the Wigan Evening Post: "Roberto is looking for players.

"He'll be watching quite a lot of football over there.

"He's got half a dozen on his list that he wants to look at and he's always looking at other players.

"He's always working. He never stops working."
