Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan says he expects a busy summer market.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez wants to make an attempt at European qualification next season.
And Whelan told the Wigan Evening Post: "Roberto's ambition for next season is for the club to finish in the top-half of the Premier League, and I think we can do it.
"There'll be players coming in and going out, and we're looking all over the world at what possibilities there are out there to help us do that."
