Wigan boss Rosler still confident keeping Man Utd's Powell

Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler insists he hasn't heard from David Moyes about recalling Nick Powell to Manchester United.

Powell is expected to be recalled by Moyes and sent on-loan to Hull City.

Rosler told the Wigan Evening Post: "I don't know where that other stuff is coming from. I speak regularly to David Moyes at Manchester United, I have a very good relationship with him.

"He has always been very helpful to me in my career, and supported me during my time at Brentford when he was at Everton.

"I took a number of his players to Brentford, and it worked very well.

"And I think Manchester United are very happy with the progress that Nick is making with us.

"The things that have appeared in the papers, I have no control over that at all.

"I can only refer to the direct conversations I have had with David Moyes, and we will have further conversations.

"Once those talks have been had, I will know for certain what is going to happen. But so far there has been no indication whatsoever that anything has changed on that score."
