Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler is delighted with the form of on-loan Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell.

Powell was used wide on the left when he came on in Wednesday's win over Sheffield Wednesday - his first appearance since January due to injury - and Rosler reckons it is in attack that the player can excel.

"I'm delighted to have him back because he's our top scorer," he said.

"He gives us so many options up front, he can play in different positions.

"I see Nick Powell more as a front player - in the wider areas, up front in a central position or in a two - than I see him as a midfielder."
