Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler is desperate to keep hold of on-loan Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell.

Powell is expected to be soon recalled by United manager David Moyes.

Rosler said: "I have spoken with David Moyes and he has not given me any indication that he is taking Nick back.

"Nick is a player of real quality and I would be delighted if he is able to stay with us for the rest of the season."
