Wigan Athletic boss Chris Hutchings has decided against bringing former Manchester United keeper Roy Carroll to the JJB Stadium.
The Northern Ireland international is looking for a new club after losing his place at West Ham to Robert Green.
But Hutchings is now eyeing Dunfermline stopper Dorus de Vries.
