Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez insists they won't change their style of play, despite their struggles.
The Latics go into their clash with Newcastle languishing at the bottom of the table.
Martinez told Absolute Radio: "No, no. I think the errors we've got clear concepts in the way that we want to play. I think it's one thing errors don't go along with style. Football style is a way to play is the philosophy that we've got at the football club and we have to be very good at it.
"The same way that if we want to play any other style you have to be very good at it if you want to win football games. Mistakes happen in football and I think it's just getting punished by it they mean a lot and they can hurt your confidence, but we're going to become stronger because of this.
"We're going to learn a lot from it and unfortunately when it hurts that much you really need to find the solutions and the players reacted in a great way. The competition for places is fierce and that's the real strength that we've got at the football club; that mentality of understanding that we can never accept defeat, we can never accept disappointment and we don't want to find reasons because of our defeat.
"We want to change it and we're going to make sure that we revert our level of performance on Saturday."
