Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez says they cannot afford to underestimate West Ham United.
The former Swansea boss urged his side to be wary of the Hammers, despite their position.
He added: "We have to be aware of the quality that West Ham are going to bring to the game because they are in real need of points exactly like ourselves.
"And if you look throughout their squad, the experience and talent that they've got, it doesn't really go with the position they are in the table and we'll have to be very careful in that respect.
"The best way to play the occasion is to be aware of what West Ham will bring."
If the Latics do manage to get the necessary points against Avram Grant's side, and at Stoke in their final game, Martinez believes there is great quality in his squad.
"The talent of my squad is phenomenal and it is a real shame that we clicked together a little too late in the season to see the real potential which is huge," he said.
