Wigan boss Martinez wants to keep Tottenham's Giovani in England

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez wants to keep Tottenham winger Giovani dos Santos in England.

Spurs plan to sell Giovani this month and have received enquiries from Sevilla and Sporting Gijon in Spain.

However, Martinez is also keen and believes he can bring out the best in the Mexican.

No formal approach has yet been made, but Wigan are expected to move for Giovani later in the week.
