Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is upset playing their relegation decider against Blackburn Rovers on Monday night.

Wins for Bolton and QPR tomorrow would put them level on points with Wigan.

A concerned Martinez said: "I would prefer it if we all played at the same time. We knew there could be situations like this and it is Blackburn and ourselves who are affected this time. But you can't think about negatives.

"We have tried to turn it to our advantage by giving the players a couple of days off so they are fresh for the final two games."
