Wigan boss Martinez upset with Chelsea over Moses dithering

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is frustrated with Chelsea's dithering over a deal for Victor Moses.

He believes the transfer window should be closed before the season starts to prevent such circumstances where players may face teams who are negotiating to sign them.

"I don't understand it. It is disrespectful to the fans, players and clubs and it should be closed before the start of the season," said Martínez. "It is unfair to expect a player to be able to cope with the mental pressure. We want this league to be the best in the world and we should look after the human side of the game. I want the authorities to stop the transfer window before the start of the season."
