Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is plotting a special plan to curb the attacking threat of Manchester United star Robin van Persie this weekend.
Van Persie has shown with four goals in his two starts, including a hat-trick at Southampton in their last outing, since joining from Arsenal that United are far from a one-man team - something Martinez is very much aware of.
"We all know what level Robin van Persie is at. What he did with Arsenal - not many players can reach that level," Martinez told the Wigan Observer.
"Obviously he went to Manchester United, and you're expecting him to take a little bit of time to settle in.
"But he proves everyone wrong with a phenomenal display against Southampton."
