Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez was pleased with his new signings in defeat to Real Mallorca.

Ivan Ramis played 45 minutes against Real Mallorca, the club he left to join Wigan for last week.

Fellow newboy Fraser Fyvie made a brief appearance towards the end of the game and Martinez says both players have settled in well.

"I'm very pleased with Ivan," he told the Wigan Observer. "He played 45 minutes, it was exactly what he needed. He looked composed and it was a real experience for him. I was very happy with that aspect.

"Fraser came on and had a little bit of a taster to see what it is to play at the DW Stadium and I thought it was a positive display."
