Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has taken a new swipe at Nemanja Vidic after the Manchester United defender was cleared of wrongdoing on Saturday.
Martinez insists the Manchester United ace should have been sent off for his off-the-ball clash with Hugo Rodallega in their 5-0 win at the DW Stadium last weekend.
That would have brought defender Vidic an automatic ban, ruling him out of United's showdown with Arsenal.
Martinez said: "Vidic needs to take a long look at his actions and he is very fortunate the ref did not see what happened.
"It is a shame Howard Webb did not see it because he was outstanding. The way he calmed the situation with Hugo's reaction was fantastic."
