Wigan boss Martinez: Mourinho will return only for three clubs

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez believes there's only three clubs Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho would return to England for.

Former Chelsea manager Mourinho has declared he expects to return to the Premier League.

Martinez told the Sunday Mirror: "I can also see Jose coming back to the Premier League - because he has always said he feels comfortable here in England.

"Unlike Pep, who would probably consider a number of clubs, I think Jose would only consider three: Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. I say that because he would want to be at a club that has a lot of money to spend, so that he can build his own team.

"United, of course, have Sir Alex Ferguson and no-one knows what his plans for the future are.

"Roberto Mancini is doing a fantastic job at City. He is one of the most impressive, tactically minded managers in the Premier League.

"I don't know what is in Mourinho's mind, but he had great success at Chelsea before and he seems to have made his peace with Roman Abramovich.

"From what I am told, he wants to come back to the Premier League before taking over as the coach of Portugal's national team."
