Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is prepared to sell James McCarthy - but not yet.
Martinez reckons the Republic of Ireland midfielder, 22, valued at £10million, will stay at the DW Stadium in January but accepts he will eventually play for a Champions League team.
He said: "James will stay until he knows he's ready, he's level headed. There's a right time and wrong time to leave - he's at the right club."
