Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez admits they're rank outsiders against FA Cup final opponents Manchester City.

But Martinez insists they will not approach the game like they are already beaten.

"I don't think we deserve to be called David against Goliath because that would be an understatement!" Martinez said.

"But we are going there to win it. It is pointless to go into a final and just make up the numbers.

"We are clearly the underdogs and we respect Man City and what they have done over the past few years winning trophies. We need to find that mentality where we can cope with their superiority because that's what we are going to face."
