Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is standing by goal-shy striker Jason Scotland.
Martinez is backing Scotland to be a Premier League hit - despite his shocking miss at Liverpool.
Scotland, 30, has yet to score in 17 top-flight games since joining from Swansea for £2m in July.
The striker spurned a glorious chance from close range to break that duck at Anfield on Wednesday but hit the bar as Liverpool won 2-1.
But Martinez said: "He's been exceptional so I'm not too concerned. His contribution is more than just scoring."
