Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez hopes for one more signing this month.
Roger Espinoza has joined from Sporting Kansas City on a free, while Latics have also secured a loan deal for Manchester United starlet Angelo Henriquez.
"We want to bring in one more outfield player during this window, and that is where most of our work is focused on," Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post.
"I would feel then that we would be fully equipped to handle the second part of the season.
"It's not something that is going to happen overnight - I think it might go all the way to the end of the window. But we are prepared to wait as long as it takes, and I would be satisfied with one more body on board that we would be in perfect shape."
