Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez said he was happy to land a draw against Bolton despite being at home.
The Latics and Trotters played out a scoreless draw at DW Stadium but the Spaniard was happy as every point recorded is vital and it enabled his side to climb to 14th on the table.
"It is a very good point. Every point now is important," Martinez said.
"I am looking at the performance and all the ingredients you need to be a good side are there - effort, discipline, concentration.
"I felt at times we looked a threat in the last third but at times lacked a bit of composure.
"We need to make sure we carry on with the good standards to make the break that probably would have been the difference today."
