Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is convinced everyone has wrote off their Premier League survival chances.
Latics are bottom of the Premier League going into the final nine games.
Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post: "I don't think there's much belief outside the club we can do it, and that is a fantastic challenge to everyone here to show what we can do.
"It's quite clear we're not going to get any favours or help from the outside, and what we need to do is make sure we prove people wrong.
"We know we need to get to a certain tally of points by the end of the year, and it would be a fantastic achievement if we could do it.
"It's a crucial time for us all and we're determined to upset the odds."
