Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is delighted seeing Franco di Santo win a first Argentina call.
The striker earned his call-up last week.
Martinez told Absolute Radio: "Well it is it is a great complement because it is down to the football philosophy, you don't take a player from Wigan if you don't feel that he can fit in and that squad. And Franco arrived at the club as a young man with real potential but now he is a proper proper footballer and we are all very proud, and to see that forward slant with the Real Madrid player and a Barcelona player, Man City player and a Wigan Athletic player is something special."
Martinez was speaking to Ian Wright of Absolute Radio Rock n' Roll Football. Saturday's from 5pm on 1215AM. For more, visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football.
