Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is desperate not to lose Liverpool target Franco di Santo.

Martinez admitted some players may leave this month but hopes Di Santo is not one of them.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in the Argentina striker but Martinez said: "We will lose players and have to move players on and we want to keep players.

"All I'm focusing on with Franco is that he keeps developing, that he keeps fulfilling the potential he has as a football player and just having the impact he has had today."
