Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is convinced of success with a new pitch laid at the DW.
The Latics currently are in the bottom three and have just five home games to play.
Martinez said: "We didn't want to use it as an excuse but I am delighted we have done everything in our hands to solve the problem and make sure we have a perfect pitch for Saturday.
"I'm extremely proud of that.
"From now until the end of the season every point is going to be valuable and it is important we do everything we can to help our players.
"Five games is competing for 15 points - a huge amount of points."
