Wigan boss Martinez comfortable with league position

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez remains positive despite being bottom of the table.

Martinez says Wigan's 'league' is restricted to teams fighting relegation and will bring the best out of his men.

He explained: "The position we're in is easier than anyone else, as no one expects anything from us.

"We have nothing to lose from now on. Whatever happens elsewhere has no relevance as it's all about what we do. We need to find form quickly. What is important is that we feel strongly that we still control our own destiny, even though we're bottom.

"I'm certain we've the quality and experience of being in this position to help."
