Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is backing Charles N'Zogbia to gatecrash France's World Cup squad.
The Frenchman, 23, is in hot form and the Latics' main man at Sunderland for their 1-1 draw.
The Wigan boss will need him firing with his boys still deep in danger at the wrong end of the Premier League.
But he said: "I have seen it myself when you leave France or Spain - in a way you are out of sight.
"But the way he has been performing this season he will definitely get the attention of France. I am sure about that. He is still a young man, he still has another level to get to.
"We have raw, talented players which excites me. To get a point at Sunderland shows we have a good platform to carry on improving."
