Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez admits he fancied signing Newcastle United striker Demba Ba when he was available from West Ham United.

The Toon signing has netted five goals in his last three games.

Martinez joked: "He was out of our price range. He was in Marks and Spencer and I normally shop on the internet!"
