Wigan Athletic boss Chris Hutchings insists there's no row with Wales over the fitness of Jason Koumas.

"We've done everything by the book," Hutchings told Wigan's official website. "He's got a hip and knee injury and it's affecting him.

"He had the relative scans that he needed on the injury, we sent him down on Sunday to the Welsh headquarters and they assessed him, obviously they thought it was too bad for him to travel and play.

"We know that Jason's a massive player for them as he is for us, they want him fit as do we."
