Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is delighted to have fullback Ryan Taylor fit and available.

Taylor, who has overcome both a broken leg and foot, has again proved his worth, both as a strong defender and a versatile midfielder.

Bruce added: "The lad has had a terrible time with injury, but he's impressed me with his attitude and commitment.

"It was that attitude in training alone which forced him into the team on Saturday and his delivery was spot on.

"He has grasped the bull by the horns and if he keeps playing like that he won't be coming out of the team."
