Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is eyeing Arsenal youngster Armand Traore.

Bruce is desperate to solve a leftback crisis at the JJB Stadium following the £5 million departure of Leighton Baines to Everton last summer.

And Bruce will use his fruitful relationship with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger - after taking several Gunners players on loan while he was in charge at Birmingham - in a bid to seal a temporary move for the 18-year-old.
